Director's Order - Certificate Upgrade Course Curriculum Expectations - Liquid Fuels Handling Code 2007

The new Liquid Fuels Handling Code was adopted September 1, 2007. The new Code contains significant changes, and industry (through the Petroleum Training and Certification Advisory Board) has indicated they feel that a mandatory training session is required to ensure consistent understanding. TSSA agrees with this request. Ensuring consistent understanding of the new Code will mitigate safety and environmental risks arising from improperly installed or maintained equipment.

The requirement is to attend the one day training session prior to the end of CY2008. Trainers who are recognized by TSSA to deliver this course are listed on our web site under "Technician Certification - Training providers". Your training provider will submit your name to TSSA's Training and Certification department upon successful completion of the course. After December 31, 2008, those without the training will have their certificate suspended.
